Cuvée Tassy NV – Tasmanian Sparkling
I've been visiting Tasmania for over 25 years, and I've watched its wine scene grow from a handful of cellar doors into one of the most exciting places in the country for bubbles. So I'm thrilled to finally have a Nimble wine from Tassie.
Cuvée Tassy comes from the Pipers Brook district in the Tamar Valley, where the cool sea breezes and red volcanic soils grow Pinot Noir and Chardonnay built for sparkling. It's made the traditional way, with the second fermentation happening in the bottle, just like Champagne.
Think lemon tart, toasted almonds and a little crème brûlée, with fresh, zippy acidity that keeps you coming back for another sip. Seriously drinkable.
