Simply stunning Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the best groves in SA
The annual Nimble oil bottling is sourced from the freshest parcels of olive oil from the season. As the wine harvest finishes, the olive groves are nearly ready to be picked and pressed.
The 2026 olive harvest was textbook. The warm autumn weather brought ripening forward slightly, providing ideal conditions for wonderful flavours and freshness to be captured. The final oil is bold and flavourful, with distinctive pepper, cut grass and aromatic flavours of green banana with subtle nutty notes. Lingering and moreish.
The standout parcels from the harvest came were three Italian olive varieties grown on the famed Nasmin olive grove, near Mt Compass on the Fleurieu Peninsula. This year's oil is a base of the Tuscan staples Leccino and Frantoio, with the southern Italian variety Coratina bringing a mellow balance. New to the stable this year, a small amount of the Spanish variety Arbosana added a distinctive herbaceous spice to the final blend.
As usual, the oil was bottled immediately after blending. with no fining or filtration - capturing all the freshness and goodness of the annual harvest.
