Zesty, fragrant and utterly delicious tangelo liqueur
Tancello Spritz, anyone?
Made from fresh South Australian tangelo fruit, this liqueur is as versatile as it is tasty.
Tangelos are the lovechild of a tangerine and a pomelo. The fragrant, juicy flavour of a tangerine is balanced by the tart citrus cut of a pomelo. They make the ideal fruit for a 'cello' liqueur.
The freshly grated zest of the tangelo fruit was macerated in pure SA grape spirit to extract the gorgeous burnt orange colour and aromatic flavours. Next the tangelo juice was added back in to give fresh fruit flavour and some lovely citrus zip. Lastly the liqueur was balanced with a small addition of Australian cane sugar syrup.
The result is a wonderfully versatile drink. Enjoy over ice, in a Tancello Spritz, or try a Tancello Sunrise cocktail.

Tancello Spritz:
In a large stemmed wine glass:
- Ice
- 50ml Tancello Liqueur
- 90ml Nimble Prosecco
- Dash of soda
- Slice of tangelo, or orange, and a mint leaf or two (optional)
